Last night, Miley Cyrus appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show to promote her new album, sing some songs, and chat life. But the two also went ~outside the studio~ and down into the dingy hallways of the New York City subway to give a free, mini concert totally in disguise.

Miley, dressed in a black wig, sunglasses and cowboy hat, set up in the 50th Street subway station and started to sing a cover of "Jolene," while Jimmy (looking just a little bit like Miley's Dad Billy Ray, it must be said) accompanied her on the tambourine.

People slowly gathered around, and while they seemed genuinely surprised when Miley and Jimmy pulled off their wigs, TBH, there's no mistaking Miley's voice when she starts belting out those lyrics.

The subway goers were then treated to a performance of Party in the U.S.A. thereby transforming the dirty subway into a true Miley concert — and also making everyone's commute briefly tolerable for once. Thanks, Miley!
