You, a regular person with a flight to catch: Wake up at 5am panicked and sweating, drive to the airport at least three hours in advance, wait in a security line for an hour listening to the melodic hum of several small children wailing, inevitably get your bag flagged because your face lotions aren’t the right size, finally get on plane, only to realise you have a middle seat.
A celebrity with a flight to catch: gets on plane, flies.
Which begs the question, HOW! DO! THEY! DO! IT! Welp, apparently, celebrities have certain ~perks~ at the airport, and Chrissy Teigen just pulled back the curtain on what’s really going on when they fly in and out of LAX.
Basically, a fan asked Chrissy on Twitter, “How the frick do most celebrities travel on planes? Are you ever just hustling through the airport trying to make it to your gate on time?” And she replied with some inside scoop: Celebs pay extra money for access to their own special airport terminal.
there is a terminal a mile from the airport that you pay membership for. they do the same security privately and take you to the plane in a car. I know. I know. https://t.co/BtFaTBaMKh— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) December 9, 2019

As People notes, Chrissy is likely referring to LAX’s The Private Suite, a luxury terminal that opened in 2017 and offers private suites (duh), private bathrooms, and food service. Most importantly, there’s no paparazzi. Must be nice!
