I've always loved thrifting. I get to buy pieces that no one else has at super affordable prices. Living in Dubai is often overwhelming, especially as students. More often than none, there's pressure to wear the latest trends and “update” your closet. Spending money is bitter-sweet; there’s nothing like taking the label off a new dress but it's pretty awesome to save money and be a little sustainable while you're at it:
1. My Ex Wardrobe:
You won’t find any high end designers in this store. Most of the items are pre-owned and super affordable. You can shop online or check for updates on the website for the monthly pop-up. The pop-up sales mostly happen on Ladies’ night, so it gives shopper the opportunity to socialise, shop and empower one another. Talk about the best of both worlds!
2. Bagatelle Boutique:
Bagatelle boutique is not only the most authentic thrift store to buy pre-owned designer items, but you can also sell to them. The store started as a way of making use of outdated designer items and now, it is the ultimate place to sell your pre-loved items. Every single item sold in still in great condition.

3. Fashion Re-run:
This is thrifting at its best. They offer a cash on delivery service. They have the best collection of vintage clothes. Check out their website and start shopping.

4. Dubai Charity Centre:
Admittedly, it will take some searching to find the best pieces here. Dubai Charity Centre is the oldest thrift store in Dubai and they sell everything from books to clothes and household items. Nothing is more than Dhs25 for clothes, usually. That doesn't sound too bad.

5. Thrift Bazaar:
Thrift bazaar has everything. They offer a wide range of collections: shoes, bags, office wears, winter gear. And every single item is in awesome shape!
