If you guys only heard about How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days now, then don't worry, we're in the same boat.
But other than the interesting title, this 2003 film was dubbed to be THE classic rom-com that every hopeless romantic need to watch.
If there's one must-watch romantic comedy, it's definitely this, so we're super excited either way.
The 2003 film starred Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, and centers on magazine columnist, Andie Anderson who is working on a story about how to lose a man in a short period of time. Plot twist? (Don't worry, this technically isn't a spoiler) She ends up meeting a guy who has to prove that he can make any women fall hard for him to land a massive job.
Hopefully, that plot got you guys even more excited because according to E! News, this remake is absolutely real.
The show is set to be written by Guy Branum, who previously worked on The Mindy Project, and will be available on this upcoming mobile-streaming platform called Quibi.
Branum took to Twitter on Thursday to express his intentions of doing the original movie justice when it comes to the small-screens.
We were all certain you could not make a good romantic comedy anymore because print media is dead and RomCom ladies have to work at magazines, but against the tides of history, Quibi & Paramount have agreed to let me re-write "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" https://t.co/A2YcnKqeCg pic.twitter.com/wnsAj2a24E— Guy Branum (@guybranum) August 1, 2019
