You Should Celebrate International Sushi Day At These DXB Hotspots

Do you know what really important day it is today? Well you should. If your calendar isn't marked (shame on you), it's International Sushi Day!

Sushi is everyone's favourite food (non negotiable), so ofc, we need a day to give thanks, obviously. The real question is, how are you going to celebrate this momentous occasion? Sure, you could hit up your usual spots and grab some sushi, but if you're feeling a little adventurous (which I always recommend btw), try out these new places. Trust me, your tastebuds will thank you.

1. Morimoto Dubai

Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Business Bay

Private dining, lounge, delicious Japanese food and a view of Burj Khalifa? Who could want more? It may sound too good to be true, but trust me, it's the real deal. The menu features a whole array of sushi/sashimi dishes, including moreish yellowtail sushi, a signature tuna pizza and much much more. Sold.

2. Oni Lounge and Restaraunt

Shangri-la Hotel

Japanese street food, tick, dancing, tick, live music, tick...Oni Lounge and Restaraunt is the place to be. Not only is the menu absolutely delicious, but the lively vibe is epic. Sit down, enjoy, and munch on the selection, which includes hamachi yellowtail and salmon belly rolls. Yum!

3. Hoseki Dubai

Jumeirah Bay Island

One word. Revolutionary. With just nine seats and a choice between two set menus, this restaraunt is all about the grub. Think fatty-tuna and warm scallops, this next-level dining experience is sure to satisfy all tastebuds. It's a party for your stomach, and a life-changing food extravaganza. Just make sure to book ahead, as Hoseki is reservations-only.

4. Tanuki Dubai

Dubai Mall

For those of us whose pockets aren't bulging (me included), but still need their sush fix, Tanuki is the place to be. Not only is it located in Dubai Mall, which means shopping + sushi (the best combo tbh), but it's also Dhs270 per person! With a dancing robot who takes your order and delicious yet affordable sushi, Tanuki couldn't possibly be a better deal.

5. Miss Tess

Taj Hotel, Business Bay

Asian street-food inspired hotspot Miss Tess comes complete with an exciting back story, delicious dishes and stunning performances. The menu features all you can eat sushi (100% yasss) every Sunday from Dhs98. Believe me, you won't be disappointed!
