Anyone hoping Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons might be the next Keeping Up With The Kardashians couple to tie the knot are in for a shock, after the pair reportedly called time on their relationship.
Despite Kendall recently revealing she wanted to get engaged to Ben 'one day' (more about that later), an insider at Page Six reports the romance "ran its course", and Kendall and Ben decided to call it a day. PEOPLE added that the pair are "on a break", and that Kendall was enjoying "spending time with her friends and back to being in fun mode".
The split comes as Kendall explained to Vogue last week why she kept her relationships out of the public eye, commenting, "I'm very young and right now I feel like relationships aren't always super-certain and I don't want to bring too much attention to something if you don't really know long term [what it's going to be]."
Asked about the possibility that she might get engaged soon, she added, "Maybe. Definitely not now, but maybe one day."
Ben and Kendall were first linked at the beginning of summer 2018, but experienced a brief split in September last year, before getting back together in January 2019. At the time, a source told E! that the pair's romance had cooled off, but that they were still texting.
"Kendall likes Ben but she knew it was more of a summer fling," the source commented. "They both have busy careers and it is what it is. Kendall isn't looking for anything serious. She had fun with Ben but wasn't ever fully committed or looking for a long-term, exclusive relationship.
