Week after week, Kanye West's Sunday Service continues to be one of biggest events in Hollywood, inspiring a bunch of people to figure out how to bust a mission and join the congregation. And each time, Kim Kardashian faithfully updates her followers on what goes down each week and which of her celebrity friends showed up—Tyler the Creator, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Sia, and DMX are just a few of the chosen ones. That said, Kim's BFF Chrissy Teigen hasn't been yet, and she's a little bummed about it.
Before she hosted Pepsi's #Summergram launch party with DJ Khaled to show off the brand's new augmented reality Instagram filters, Chrissy explained exactly why she and her fam haven't gone to hang with their Kardashian friends at the event just yet. Basically, she has a really understandable reason and said it's because they're extremely busy and Sunday is one of the few days when her whole family can be together at home. She told Cosmopolitan, "I want to go so badly. We’re just always busy because I feel like Sunday is our only day where John [Legend] doesn’t have The Voice."
She also added that she really wants to bring her kids, Luna and Miles, to dance with North West. She said, "We want to be able to gather up everybody because I know Luna would love to hear that music so much—it’s gospel and it’s a way to bring everybody together... So we want to go so, so badly, but we just haven’t made it out there."
And speaking of kids, Chrissy joked that she's been trying to plan Miles' 1st birthday party, but he has no friends. Luckily, Luna is extremely popular and makes up for Miles' lack of a crew.
Chrissy said, "Luna brings her friends to his little parties and his little gatherings, but Luna keeps it small...she keeps it tight. Her circle is small." TG for Luna, honestly.
Now, if only all these kiddos would get together for dancing during the next service, that would be truly a blessed IG Live.
