Costa Coffee has revealed its Ramadan drink for the year, and boy is it a good one. The Velvet Macchiato combines the flavours of Red Velvet Cheesecake with cold coffee and a silky milk foam topping. Oh hello.
The drink is available now - for a limited time - and costs Dhs19. And when you buy the ridiculously sweet and satisfying drink, it comes housed in a special cup designed by Syrian/Russian artist and muralist Dina Saadi. It features a patchwork of traditional and modern interpretations of the special time of Ramadan - think glowing lanterns, Middle Eastern architecture and calligraphy depicting the words “peace”, “love” and “generosity”.
Meanwhile, SugarMoo desserts, cakes and puddings have also launched in-store. This means we can get our hands on rich Chocolate Halawa Cake, Umm Ali Cheesecake, fruity Vimto Toot Cake and rich brownies. Yum.
