Marks and Spencer Is Treating Our Taste Buds With A Vegan Meal Range

Hello, Plant Kitchen
Marks and Spencer Is Treating Our Taste Buds With A Vegan Meal Range

As if I wasn't obsessed with Marks & Spencer enough (honestly, the Deli counter and bakery are life), the British brand has given me another reason to spend all my money in there: a vegan-friendly food range.

Plant Kitchen vows to provide all the taste as well as the nutrition, and even if you're not totally vegan (myself included) ticking off those nutrition boxes is a real win-win situation.

Available in stores now, the range offers a variety of meat and dairy-free meals, salads and snacks are made from plant proteins.Think crispy cauliflower popcorn with a spicy buffalo dip, homely mushroom pie and a roasted vegetable and avocado sandwich *drooling*.

M&S is also breaking boundaries with firsts such as a vegan-friendly sourdough pizza, available in Margherita and BBQ Pulled Jackfruit. Yum.

April Preston, Director of Product Development at M&S, has said this:

“This is the year we’ll truly see plant-based food go mainstream, we’re thrilled we’ve created a range which tastes as good as you’d expect from M&S, but is also vegan-friendly, so finally people don’t have to compromise on taste.”

It's no secret vegan diets are gathering pace in the UAE and across the world. Celebs who follow the plant-based diet include Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus. JLO? Ari? Bey? So many queens can't be wrong...

Plant Kitchen range is available in M&S Foodhalls in Dubai, including Dubai Festival City Mall, Marina Walk, Ibn Battuta, The Springs Souk and Mall of the Emirates. Hop to it.
