Ariana Grande was due to perform at the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday, but has reportedly pulled out after a row with producers over what song she would sing.
According to Variety, the 'Thank U, Next' singer and Grammys producers had a disagreement over her performance during the award ceremony, where she is also nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance for 'God Is A Woman', and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.
An insider says Ariana felt "insulted" after producers refused to let her perform '7 Rings', the latest single from forthcoming album Thank U, Next, instead making her compromise with a medley.
But the singer apparently pulled out after they insisted the second song in the medley be of their choosing, with the insider adding that such stipulations had not been imposed on other performers at the show.
While neither Ari or the Grammys have publicly commented on the report, time will tell whether there's any truth to it when the ceremony unfolds on Sunday 10 February.
Thank U, Next is due for release on Tuesday 8 February, two days before the awards unfold. EXCITING STUFF.
