If you’ve spent any time in the internet’s self-improvement corners, you already know Wizard Liz: the sharp-tongued (an understatement) and hyper-disciplined creator whose monologues on confidence, boundaries, and self-worth routinely go viral. What you may not know? As of three weeks ago, the internet’s “mother” is officially a mother.

Liz shared the update through an Instagram post, followed by a candid delivery and labour vlog, filmed largely from her hospital room alongside her sister and the father of the baby. Her pregnancy unfolded under intense public scrutiny, with moments of controversy that she chose not to centre or explain, opting instead to retreat and protect her peace.

Heading to the hospital to be induced after passing her due date, Liz admits she once hoped for a natural birth but quickly embraces reality. Pregnancy, she says plainly, was not the glowing, goddess-coded experience Instagram promised. “Pregnancy was very stressful for me,” she admits, like “jail”.

Now postpartum, Liz is clear about one thing, her child, until they express differently, will remain private. No name, no gender, no internet debut. Motherhood, she says, has changed her completely. Exhausting and overwhelming, but also, in her words, “the biggest blessing” of her life.

Here are some of her mantras that we are carrying into the next year.
