Celebrities have taken to social media to share their Coronavirus reactions, but Venassa Hudgens’s was unexpected, to say the least…
She laughed and said, “Um, yeah. I’m sorry. It’s a virus, I get it, I respect it, but at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it — like, yeah, people are gonna die. Which is terrible. But, like, inevitable? I don’t know, maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now.”
Joining the worms for brains contingency that seems to be growing larger by the day: Vanessa Hudgens says: “Even if everyone gets [coronavrius], like yeah people are going to die, which is terrible, but like… inevitable? I don’t know maybe I shouldn’t be doing this right now.” pic.twitter.com/OwWA7XDWVm

OUCH!
Her words have changed some of her fans’ impressions of her. Many of the comments called her “heartless” and “insensituve”.
Naturally, Twitter had a lot to say:
Vanessa Hudgens not apologizing for her cruel and stupid words about the Coronavirus but instead claiming that we misunderstood and took her words out of context shows a lot about her and her personality #VanessaHudgens

did vanessa hudgens say she respected??? the coronavirus???
After realising the negative impact her comments made, she tried to apologise by saying, ““Hey, guys, so yesterday, I did an Instagram Live, and I realised today that some of my comments are being taken out of context. It’s a crazy time. It’s a crazy, crazy time, and I am at home and in lockdown and that’s what I hope you guys are doing too and full quarantine and staying safe and sane. I don’t take this situation lightly by any means. I am home. So stay inside, y’all.”
