Dolls, assemble! After just a taste of Hulu’s new reality hit The Kardashians, we’re already foaming at the mouth for a season 2. And good news—it’s already in the works. Here’s what to know about when The Kardashians comes back for another round.
Is Hulu’s The Kardashians getting a season 2?
Yes! In a now slightly infamous Variety profile (yes, that one), the family revealed more about the logistics of their new show between bits of advice for women in business. We learned that Hulu does indeed have plans for a season 2 of The Kardashians, giving us 40 episodes total between the seasons.
Back before season 1 even premiered, internet sleuths hunted down its tentative schedule and theorized that new episodes would be released weekly and end with a mid-season finale of sorts around Thursday, June 16…which we now know is totally true, LOL. Because this season had only 10 episodes, this *could* mean the famous family is set to create another three seasons that also consist of 10 episodes each.
When can we expect a season 2?
We officially have a release date, people! The Kardashians will be returning to our screens on *drumroll please* September 22! They even blessed the people with a trailer for season 2 as well. Trust me, you want to watch it ’til the end:
When did The Kardashians season 2 start filming?
It looks as though filming for the second series of The Kardashians started almost immediately after the first season ended, which is exciting.
Back in June 2022, mere weeks after The Kardashians season one finished, Kylie Jenner shared a glimpse behind the scenes on the Kardashians set, posing by a golf buggy and a pair of trailers used during filming (spot the director’s chair too).
She captioned the post, “Days on set with @kardashianshulu,” soooo, yep, it definitely looks like filming has begun. See the post here.

What will we see in season 2?
When The Kardashians showrunner Danielle King spoke with Distractify about Travis and Kourtney’s Vegas wedding, she confirmed that cameras were indeed there, to which I say: OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG.
Meanwhile, Kim’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson did have a small audio-only appearance in season one, with many fans hoping for him to join the cast properly in a second series.
Discussing whether we can expect Pete to appear on screen, producer Danielle King told the Crew Call podcast, “Whether we have in-depth story lines, that’s entirely up to him…that’s entirely a conversation between Kim and Pete.”
Danielle did go on to tease some scenes where we might see Pete joining Kim on camera, including footage filmed during their Met Gala red carpet appearance. She explained, “He’s legitimately a part of Kim’s life, and so for those bigger moments – like when they went to the Met Ball – Pete was with her. He’s not like, ‘Get the cameras away from me.’ He joins in.”
