If you’re 23 songs deep into SZA’s latest album drop, ‘SOS,’ and have been crying for the past week, then *same*. The chart-topping R&B queen released a ~plethora~ of fire songs on the 9th of December and has already announced that she’ll be going on tour in the US in February 2023. With features from the likes of major stars Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and Travis Scott, it’s safe to say that ‘SOS‘ is setting out to be just as successful as her debut studio album, ‘CTRL.’

Just this morning, previous Cosmo cover star SZA took to her IG stories with a couple of reposts, one of them including the region’s very own vocal powerhouse Nadine El Roubi. In case you didn’t know (and you should know,) Nadine El Roubi is a Sudanese singer of Egyptian and Iranian ethnicity. This Middle Eastern star’s music explores the complex intersectional identity of being a third-cultured Afro-Arab woman, through sounds of neo-soul, R&B, and Hip Hop. She’s even just released her debut EP ‘Triplicity.’
Check out how SZA shared Nadine El Roubi’s work below…
One of Nadine’s fire reels of her singing was reposted on a page called the @thetrapwitch, and SZA then took to her IG stories to repost that carousel with Nadine El Roubi’s content captioning “why did she eat this so crazy?”

Nadine also took to her own socials to say “Shaking. Crying. Hyperventilating uncontrollably. To think I have been playing SOS on repeat since its been out & this happens. God. I keep telling you. @sza thank you.”

We’d react like that too tbh.
