So I think we can all agree that Selling Sunset has been one of the only positives to come out of 2020, however Jason doesn’t quite agree…

The owner of The Oppenheim Group spoke in a recent interview with Hello! Magazine about his regrets of the show, explaining he didn’t realise the show was going to be filmed and edited the way it was.

“Had I known the show would be this focused on our personal lives I probably wouldn’t have signed up for it”, he said. “I wanted it to be all about the nuances of real estate, but I now realise the show I envisaged wouldn’t be that popular! I’ve come to accept the idea that I’m on more of a reality show than a real estate show.”

He is kinda right… But we love a good dose of reality mixed in with our 10 bedroom houses!

Jason’s confession comes soon after Christine Quinn broke the news that his bother Brett had left The Oppenheim Group, saying “Brett has left to start his own brokerage” in a recent interview. She also went on to hint that both brokerages could be featured on the show, “the girls are fed up with the favouritism of Mary in the office, we don’t know who will move where. It may be the battle of the brokerages! I think season four is going to be the juiciest season ever.”

So it looks like the Oppenheim brothers aren’t the biggest fans of Selling Sunset, which is a bit of a tricky one when their business is at the heart of it!
