Selling Sunset is responsible for some seriously binge-worthy TV, some killer fashion looks, and some *major* drama. This week’s drama comes as Chrishell Stause hits out at Christine Quinn, following some comments which Christine made about Chrishell’s split from Justin Hartley.

When speaking with Page Six, Christine said that Chrishell and her husband had been seeing a relationship counsellor before they split: “We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while”, Christine said. “We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them.”

Chrishell has taken to Twitter to respond to these claims as a “complete lie”.

She tweeted: “I’ve just learned Christine is giving press “information” about my divorce. Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is a complete lie or total conjecture on her part”.

In a separate tweet, she added: “It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had”.

News of Chrishell and Justin’s divorce broke back in November 2019 after two years of marriage. The third series of Selling Sunset is due next month, and will feature Chrishell’s divorce. Speaking on this with the RealiTea with Derek Z podcast she said “unfortunately, I’m in a position where more has been shared that I would have ever chosen because this was not a choice that I made”. She continued with “nor was this the timing that I would have chosen while I was filming a show, so I’m already in a position where so much has been shared that I wouldn’t have opted for. It’s an embarrassing, humiliating type of thing to go through without cameras and without people judging you, so I just hope people are gentle when they watch”.

Season 3 of Selling Sunset is set to air on the 7th August on Netflix.
