Now United’s Lebanese member (and our Spring cover star,) Nour Ardakani, recently posted a video on the ‘gram of an Arabic-English mash up (which we’re obsessed with FYI.) And Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna has previously covered it as well. Is there anything better than seeing two young Arab females succeed on your social? Nope, thought so.

It wasn’t too long ago that the song ‘Talking to the Moon‘ by Bruno Mars went viral on TikTok, with users duetting the song, and using audio features to cover it. This 2010 song made a *major* comeback.

Ofc, 19-year-old Elyanna did something ~genius~ a couple of months ago while it was trending and remixed the song with a very well known Nancy Ajram song. While it’s super difficult to mash up Arabic and English music together, Elyanna perfected it. The songstress went from singing ‘Talking to the Moon‘ to ‘Fi Hagat,’ and the integration was seamless.

Her post did so well (9.5 million views) that this remix made it onto Spotify and TikTok as it’s own audio.

Last night, 19-year-old NU member Nour blessed our ears as well by posting her cover of the mash up crediting Elyanna. We’re obsessed.

Both of these girls definitely know their Arabic scales. Imagine the song collaboration that could happen!Â
