Glee actress Naya Rivera, 33, went missing after she went on a boat ride at Lake Peru with her four-year-old son on Wednesday, July 8.

A search for Naya began on Wednesday afternoon when she and her son failed to return to the rental facility after the three hours that she paid for. After an extensive search, her son was found alone on the boat.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Capt. told The Los Angeles Times that investigators showed up at the scene around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday and found a toddler “unharmed,” but didn’t see the mother at the scene.
