Rumours that Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson were teaming up to star in a new rom-com together have been swirling in celeb land for quite some time now. But the good news is, it turns out those rumours were very much true. Earlier this year, the pair were spotted filming on the set of the new movie, Meet Cute, on August 11. And, later that month, Kaley took to Instagram to share that filming up on the upcoming film had wrapped. How exciting!

What is Meet Cute about?
While there aren’t too many details about the movie out there just yet, what we do know is that Meet Cute is a rom-com with a splash of time travel. According to Deadline, the movie is “built around the question: What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones’ past, heal their traumas, fix their problems and change them into the perfect partner?”
Who is starring in Meet Cute?
The Flight Attendant‘s Kaley Cuoco stars as Sheila alongside Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) who plays her on-screen love interest Gary.
The rest of the cast is yet to be announced, but we know the movie has been directed by Blue Jay‘s Alex Lehmann, and is based on an original screenplay by Noga Pnueli.
Is there a trailer for Meet Cute?
Given that filming for the movie only just wrapped over the summer, Meet Cute‘s trailer is probably a long way off. But, Kaley and Pete were spotted filming the movie around New York quite frequently, with the Flight Attendant star taking to her own Instagram to share a number of photos from the set – which is about as close as we’re getting to a trailer rn.
And, speaking of being spotted on set, we’re particularly interested in these pics of Kaley and her stunt double being hit by a car. Just your average day at the office, right Kaley?
Are there any teaser photos of Meet Cute?
While there aren’t any ~official~ photos of the movie, Meet Cute star Kaley has been busy sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes content to keep us interested.
Back in August, she took to Instagram to share a photo with costar Pete to mark the last day of filming. “That’s a wrap on ‘Meet Cute'” she wrote in the caption. “What an experience! Loved every single human involved with this special little gem of a film.. would do it over and over and over again (get it? It’s a time travel joke lol) see the movie and you will understand.”
In another post, she wrote: “Sheila & Gary coming soon.”

When will Meet Cute be released?
We’re not sure when Meet Cute will arrive on screens, but we’re hoping we won’t have to wait too long.
