Netflix’s second season of Love is Blind was pure drama, and in true LIB fashion the drama carried on long after the show ended. As you will know, a lot of that drama centred around Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee and his relationship with co-star Deepti Vempati. Well, it looks like Shake is moving on from Deepti, since the reality star just went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, and the caption is ruffling some feathers.

Taking to Instagram late last night Shake shared a series of pictures and videos revealing his relationship with his new girlfriend Emily Wilson. The post shows the pair posing for selfies and spending time at home, with the fourth snap in the series showing her planting a big kiss on his cheek.

But the real drama is around the caption that accompanied the post – which has the comments turned off – with some suggesting it came across as shady.

Alongside the pictures, Shake wrote, “Good things come to those who w̶a̶i̶t̶ don’t settle ❤️.”

While it may simply be that the caption is just meant to be a sweet dedication to his new girlfriend, some felt that it came across as though he was saying his relationship with Deepti would have been “settling”.

Love is Blind fans on Twitter began reposting the news and saying that Shake was “shading” Deepti, while others called out the post for what they saw as an unnecessary “dig at Deepti”.

It’s all just quite uncomfortable, isn’t it?
