Love is Blind lovers, chances are you’re *pretty* buzzed for the new series. With season 5 only a day away, dropping on Netflix on 22nd September, it’s time to welcome the colder weather with a good old dose of dating reality TV.

With its unconventional structure – i.e. throwing a load of singletons into a social experiment whereby they look for love and get engaged without meeting each other in person – it quickly solidified itself as one of our fave shows on the streaming platform.

But if you’re anything like us, you’ll binge the latest season in one sitting and be left twiddling your thumbs for the foreseeable. That is, until news of a new series starts circulating online. So with that, can we expect a Love is Blind season 6, and if so, err, when?!

Will there be a season 6 of Love is Blind?

Big news lads, because we can confirm that season 6 is well and truly official. Oh, and the production team have already started casting for it too.

On the 15th of August, Kinetic Content Casting, the show’s casting company shared a post on Instagram calling for people to apply for the show. Eek!

“The PODS are officially open! Take a leap of faith and apply today at the link in our BIO! If you’d like to nominate a friend, please feel free to shoot us a DM,” the caption read.

When will season 6 of Love is Blind be released?

Sadly, there’s no confirmed date due to it still being early doors. And the fact that season 5 hasn’t even dropped yet.

However, the IG casting call application states that hopeful singles must be available between February and March 2024, which suggests that’s when they’ll be filming season 6. Should this be correct, it’s likely we’ll catch the next season sometime late next year.

That’s our autumn/winter 2024 viewing sorted, then!

Is there a trailer for season 6 of Love is Blind?

Again, nope, thanks to the early nature of the news. But if you’re desperate for your LIB fix ahead of Friday’s release, you can watch the season 5 trailer here:

What might happen on season 6 of Love is Blind?

If there’s one thing we can count on Love is Blind for, it’s the dramatic love triangles, OTT PDAs (hello, Kravis), and often pretty awkward encounters. Everything you’d expect from a dating reality show, right? So we can only imagine season 6 will bring all the juice.

But in terms of the format, it’s likely season 6 will be the same as previous series, which sees 40 contestants sign themselves up for the show in order to find ‘the one.’

From going on dates in blind ‘pods’ where potential couples can get to know each other on a personal level (obvs all without knowing what they look like) to taking part in a series of speed dates before ranking their experiences in order, it’s unknown right know whether the show will introduce any new tasks or features for the future…

Love is Blind season 5 will air on Netflix on Friday 22 September.
