With the majority of dating shows, there comes a reunion post-series. We’ve seen it with Love Island, Married At First Sight and Too Hot To Handle, and our most recent favourite, Love Is Blind, is no exception. The final episode aired last week and ever since, we’ve been eagerly waiting for the cast to reunite in a dramatic showdown.

Well, today the Love Is Blind Reunion landed on Netflix, and it didn’t disappoint. As well as the cast answering our burning questions about who’s still together, there were some intense exchanges of words. But the one thing that got fans all saying the same thing on Twitter was Shake.

Within the first two minutes of the episode, co-presenter Vanessa Lachay asked the group if anyone was nervous. Shake, of course, was the first to speak saying: “I’m nervous about how we get edited.” Shayne responded surprised, saying: “That’s what you’re going to lead with?”

The presenters then replayed some of Shake’s dates from the pods, including sentences like, “I love buying clothes for girls… what’s your size?” and “Do you like working out? […] I get along best with individuals that work out.”

He later asked Deepti, “If we were to be at a music festival, do you like being on a guy’s shoulders […]will I have trouble picking you up?”

In response, his ex-fiancé and fan-favourite Deepti said during the Reunion, “It’s okay to not be physically attracted to somebody. Guess what? There’s a million people who are. It’s the way you go about life. It’s how you do it and how you say it that’s extremely disrespectful, it’s degrading to women, […]”.

To conclude, co-presenter Nick Lachay added, “The whole point of Love Is Blind is to fall in love with someone based on who they are on the inside. A task not everyone seemed to understand and yes, I am looking at you, Shake.”
