Lewis Capaldi is one of a kind, no doubt. We cry to his heartbreaking songs and then laugh while watching his streams on social media. UAE fans were looking forward to seeing their fave artist performing live on stage, but, unfortunately, bad news came. Lewis cancelled all the upcoming concerts, including those in Dubai and Zallaq in Bahrain 😭. And he had some serious reasons to do so.

Why did Lewis Capaldi cancel many of his upcoming concerts?

Just a few days back, Lewis Capaldi posted an announcement for fans on his Instagram account saying that he has decided to take a break from touring.

“The truth is that I’m still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come,” wrote Lewis.

About a year and a half ago, Lewis Capaldi was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome. It is a condition of the nervous system that causes sudden unwanted twitches or movements that people can’t control.

When talking about the show last Saturday Lewis referred to his performance at Glastonbury Festival in England. The musician was struggling to sing as his Tourette syndrome began again, but the lovely people in the audience supported Lewis Capaldi throughout the concert and were truly understanding.
