Jennifer Lopez and Shakira joined forces to perform at one of the biggest events on the annual music calendar: the Superbowl’s halftime show. And yes, it was an epic as you thought it would be.
Shakira performed first, singing hits including She Wolf, Empire, Whenever, Wherever and Hips Don’t Lie.
JLO then took the stage next with a mashup of her number one tracks, including Jenny from the Block, I’m Real, Get Right and Love Don’t Cost a Thing.#
The two Latina singers finished the show together singing Let’s Get Loud and Waka Waka (This is Africa).
Oh, and did we mention Shakira played the drums?
“Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Halftime Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl,” said JLO in a press release. “And now it’s made even more special not only because it’s the NFL’s 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can’t wait to show what us girls can do on the world’s biggest stage.”
