The Marvel Cinematic Universes latest installment, Eternals, has just premiered and we’ve got *major* news. ‘Watermelon Sugar‘ singer, fashion icon, and childhood crush, Harry Styles, is playing Thanos’s brother, Eros.

If you’re not familiar with the MCU characters, Thanos was the main villain from Avenger’s Endgame, who was obviously defeated. But now thanks to the post-credit scene of Eternals, we know that Harry Styles will be playing his brother.

Variety film writer, Matt Donnelly, posted the news on his Twitter earlier this morning.

Eternals is the newest addition to the fourth phase of MCU movies. The film has a star-studded cast featuring: Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, and Richard Madden.

This isn’t the first time that this ex-One Directioner has ventured into the film industry either, his role in Christopher Nolan’s wartime epic Dunkirk (2017) was ~impressive~ to say the least.

Here’s just one reaction from Twitter to the unexpected crossover, and TBH we feel the same.

Eternals will be released in theatres on November 4th, 2021.
