Everyone knows how much Palestinian singer, rapper, and songwriter Saint Levant is absolutely infatuated with his beau Naïka.
From the TikToks they post, the lipsyncs, and the undeniable chemistry on stage, it’s no secret that they are both deeply in love.
But many fans are still searching for more deets on how the adorable relationship began. Thankfully, he finally revealed how everything started.
According to Saint Levant, who recently appeared in a candid interview with Billboard Arabia, he revealed that it all started with a quick pop in the DMs.
A classic Gen Z move from a Gen Z’er himself, the 24-year-old revealed that he simply slid into his “Habiba”, Naïka‘s DMs.
When asked how he met his “madame” he began by lovingly saying: “Ah yes, my Habiba.”
Revealing that his crush started when he was still in college (such a lover boy, honestly), he mentioned, “When I was in college, I saw her account and found her music and I became a fan, and I [started] to like her.”
“It was a long shot, but I Dm’ed her,” he added.
Then, still, at the beginning of his journey to stardom, he also mentioned that he sent his low-key music channel to her, “Since I was still in college, I made a channel which had very few fans… when I sent a DM she texted back saying, ‘Oh, wow, hi.'”
Now this is where even we swooned a little. Saint Levant, affectionately called as Marwan, has a smooth side that only Naïka got to see. According to his interactions with the French-Haitian singer, he said he a text saying, “Let me love you [let me spoil] you a little bit.” *Internally screams*
Despite the long shot, it was obvious he had game. He continued saying that he asked where she was, which at the time, Naika was in Saudi Arabia.
He was shocked at the revelation and said, “When she said she was in Saudi Arabia, I told her, ”What? I’m in Saudi Arabia, too.'”
And just like destiny, the pair went on their first date in Riyadh, particularly on a dinner date where he flexed the city’s best restaurants
