Cosmo ME: Do you believe in manifestation and why?
Harry Jowsey: I am a firm believer in manifestation. I love manifesting. I think that we’re all just a big ball of energy and we’re all connected to our future and our past.

C: What stereotypes do you think there are about men and their mental health?
H: One of the biggest stereotypes that I seem to find with men’s mental health is that everyone is a little bit afraid to talk to their friends or just reach out for help. That’s the biggest thing that I’ve noticed with a lot of my friends and myself as well as I have been too afraid to reach out for help and ask and just tell someone, “Hey, I’m not actually feeling great today. I’m not feeling good. What can I do to make that stuff better?”
And it’s always a tough conversation, but it’s one of those ones that need to happen because then you never know. You might change someone’s life. We might save someone’s life.
C: Would you want to be on reality TV again?

Via @harryjowsey Instagram
H: I would love to be on reality TV again. There are obviously a few things happening in the reality TV space. I would love to do it. I love entertaining. I love making people laugh. I just don’t think I would do another dating show again because I have done enough of those. And I’m also in an amazing relationship with an amazing woman. So, I most definitely will not do any more dating shows for the rest of my life. But other reality shows I’m all game for.
C: What’s your star sign? Tell us a little bit about how you relate to your zodiac.
H: My star sign is Gemini. I don’t know anything about Gemini, but all I know is that Geminis aren’t very good. That’s all I’m being told is that we are terrible and being a Gemini is a bad thing.
I promise I’m not a bad person in real life. So if there’s a better one that I can become, I’m going to try and I’ll try to be something different. Like, maybe I’ll become a Leo or something. I don’t know how it works.
C: Does your love life come into play when it comes to your mental health? Obviously, you have to love yourself and be in a good place before you can love someone else. What are your thoughts on this?
H: I think that any relationship comes into play with your mental health and, you know, good or bad, it’s always going to weigh in on it. You could be dating a really horrible person that could make your mental health way worse. You could be dating an amazing person that could uplift and inspire you and make your mental health the most amazing thing ever. It really just depends. It’s hard to be in a relationship with someone if you don’t love yourself. So, it all starts with you.
But yeah, another thing. You should never put all your pressure on someone that they make your mental health better, that they make how you feel a lot better. Being in a relationship and loving yourself should be the priority.
C: How do you take care of your mental health?
H: Well, first of all, I have a therapist. I’m very blessed and very grateful to be in a position to have a therapist, which has helped me through so much. Just understand my brain a little bit better, understand my moods a little better, and just understand myself a lot better, which has been great.
But a couple of things that I do that don’t involve any money is I just take myself for a walk in the sun and go sit down and be away from my crazy, chaotic environment, give myself some time to find peace and to just be alone with my thoughts for a little bit and reflect.
C: Tell us a little bit about your candle line.
H: I created The Ritual because, with so many other candles, there were so many nasty things in the itself that a lot of these other brands, when I would order them and buy them, I would get headaches from just the smell and just the stuff they put inside of it. Our candles are made in L.A. with non-GMO coconut wax but I wanted to have something to put on to the light, to smell, to fill your room with a beautiful scent.
All the candles have fun little quotes on them. And each one has 60 hours of burn time. We’re lucky enough to have just launched the room sprays and hand soaps and stuff like that. So, yeah, very exciting times.
