After winning season one of The Perfect Match with co-star Dom Gabriel, things have started to go downhill for Georgia Hassarati. According to Netflix’s recently uploaded ‘Where Are They Now?’ video, the pair has broken up and Hassarati found love in Francesca’s ex, Harry Jowsey.
There seem to be two sides to this story. In the video, Hassarati said, “we were at two different levels in the relationship, and he is such an amazing person and the last thing I wanted was for it to be an ugly ending to something so beautiful,”. Whereas, Gabriel claimed that, “we were still talking and we were together and she had to go and do a certain podcast…and the title of the podcast was Georgia and Harry Jowsey fall in love and I was so blindsided,”.
Georgia even explained in the video why she chose to be in a relationship with Harry, they are both from Queensland, Australia, they’ve both been on the same Netflix TV show (Too Hot to Handle) and there were so many similarities between them which made a perfect ‘recipe’ for her to find someone when there is no pressure.
So, why is Georgia getting so much social media backlash?

Just last week, Georgia and Dom got into a very public social media dispute over the circumstances of their breakup. And, Dom and Francesca’s supporters have taken up the task to make Hassarati take ownership of her mistakes and be apologetic. To this she explained on the recent podcast, “I see the messages. People think that I don’t. Those messages are probably going to haunt me for the rest of my life. That people think these horrible things about me and think that I’m someone that is far from true. It’s taking a toll that I don’t think anyone can imagine, but I don’t blame them.
The 27-year-old social media star also regrets publicly going at it with Gabriel over Instagram stories. She said, “I feel like I was just so frustrated seeing the way things were playing out online, and hearing people speak about me that had no idea about the relationship me and Dom had, or the relationship I’m currently in and having constant involvement in that. I acted out of emotion and I shouldn’t have”
“The weight to speak on this podcast has been so hard for me because I can’t go online, I can’t talk, I can’t go outside, I’m a depressed mess. It’s so sad because I haven’t even been able to give my side of the story,” she explained.
