Euphoria has unfortunately lost one of its beloved cast members. Angus Cloud, who portrayed the role of Fezco on the show, sadly passed away on July 31, 2023 (at the ripe age of 25).

The late actor’s family shared the tragic news in an official statement to TMZ which reads, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways — Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.“

Indeed, the tragic loss of Angus Cloud comes only one week after his father’s passing. The late Euphoria star has been open about his struggles with mental health, and we predict that Angus dealt with a considerable amount of grief and sadness in his final weeks on earth.
The late actor’s cause of death hasn’t yet been identified, and the Oakland Police Department is conducting an official investigation into this tragic matter.
Having lost not one but two beloved members of their support system, we cannot imagine the pain that the Cloud family has had to endure over the past couple of weeks. “We hope the world remembers Angus for his humor, laughter and love for everyone,” his family shared. “We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

HBO and some of the late actor’s castmates on Euphoria have also expressed their condolences. “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud,” shared an HBO representative in conversation with CNN. “He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Cloud’s cast-mate Storm Reid, who portrays Gia Bennett in Euphoria, shared a cheerful Instagram story in which the late actor was seen laughing. “The tears just won’t stop,” wrote Storm.
