El Gouna Flim Festival has revealed their dates for the 2021 edition. As one of the leading film festivals in the MENA region, GFF aims to showcase a wide variety of films for a passionate and knowledgable audience, while fostering better communication between cultures through the art of filmmaking.
Its goal is to connect filmmakers from the region with their international counterparts in the spirit of cooperation and cultural exchange. The festival is commited to the discovery of new voices and strives to be a catalyst for the development of cinema in the Arab world, especially through its industry arm, CineGouna Platform.

The 5th Edition jury members:
The Feature Narrative Competition jury will include Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby, Sarah Hoch, and Georges Hachem. As well as this, GFF’s 5th edition marks the inauguration of its first El Gouna Green Star Award, the jury members for this competition include Egyptian actress Arwa Gouda, Kayvan Mashayekh, and Rana Najjar.
A little bit about the 4th Edition:
The 4th edition’s jury included some of the most influential and distinguished professionals in the film industry. Some of the renowned included:Egyptian actor Asser Yassin, award-winning Sudanese filmmaker and screenwriter Amjad Abu Alala. Director and producer Peter Webber acclaimed Egyptian director Marianne Khoury and many more.
