Let’s face it: Dubai Bling would never be the same without the queen Safa Siddiqui.
Since the first season, we’ve seen the fashion queen consistently deliver iconic scenes (with many living rent-free in our heads), which quickly made her one of the show’s standout cast members.
Naturally, her wittiness and exaggeration made her the It-girl across the seasons. And it seems that because of her penchant for all things extra, the mother of two exclusively revealed to Cosmo ME how exactly she is the icon she is today.
It’s honestly a no-brainer that Safa deserves to be in front of the camera. Her automatic switch from unbothered to hella-darn-fuming is exactly why her fans adore her so much.

Without a second thought, she shared with Cosmo ME what makes her personality the buzz social media loves: “I’m very spontaneous and dramatic, and obviously, those characteristics go viral.”
While she’s often associated with her covetable closet filled with Hermès Birkins and Kelly’s, she said, “People assume I’m just about labels and luxury, but I see the humour in all of it.”
Of course, it’s natural that she isn’t like other women. The mother of two even looked back into her most viral Lambo funeral, saying, “No one’s sitting around a dinner table saying, ‘Oh, Safa’s a great mother.’ They’re saying, ‘Safa threw a funeral for a Lamborghini'”.
No matter how shocked the entirety of the fans and the cast (the reactions were gold) was on the episode, she mentioned, actually insists, that it “was all about the symbolism.” Fans will remember her specifically saying it was her way of closing a materialistic chapter of her life.
Despite the luxury lifestyle evidently being her most defining characteristic in the series, she said: “I used to get carried away with buying things, but it’s not giving me the same happiness anymore.”
Looking back on her viral moment, she quipped, “I am not apologising for any stage of my life. I was a spoilt wifey, and I had a right to be.”
Now, embracing both her virality and new-found way of life, she further said, “In season one, that was my era. But now you see me in a different era.”
We love a self-aware queen.
