It has been three months since the tragic Beirut explosion happened in Lebanon, and people from all over the world, including celebrities, have been trying to help and donate. Canadian rapper Drake is one of the latest stars that has given back to the Lebanese community. The chart-topping artist’s fashion label is releasing a line specifically in support of Lebanon.
The new line of T-shirts and hoodies will be sold exclusively online today, and all of the proceeds will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross to aid the victims of the Beirut explosion.
All of the pieces have OVO’s signature owl logo, and on the wing the Cedar of Lebanon has been placed. The stylish, classic OVO pieces come in red, black and white. ‘OVO’ is co-owned by Drake and his manager Oliver El-Khatib and his producer Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver and Noah are evidently half-Lebanese, and it’s not news that Drake has also shown love to the Middle East.
