SOS, Dubai Bling is losing yet another cast member, and the star has confirmed it himself.
Season 3 saw the return of all our usual faves, apart from Kris Fade and Lojain Omran, who both made the difficult decision to leave due to their own personal reasons. But the drama and the glamour we saw in the first two seasons was back and even juicier in Season 3.
So who is the latest Dubai Bling star to make their exit? It’s none other than DJ Bliss (Marwan Parham Al Awadhi) himself. As the first Emirati DJ, 43-year-old Marwan first appeared in Season 1 of everyone’s guilty-pleasure show.
Speaking candidly on Nour Aldin’s podcast last week, he spoke about his love-hate relationship with being on the show.
“Honestly, it’s not for me. We had a three-year contract deal and I did that just to finish up what we started. It’s not really what I enjoy doing and of course, it has a lot of benefits, a lot of people see a successful show like that. But it doesn’t really resonate well with me, who I am, what I want to do, what I believe in, and what my beliefs are,” said DJ Bliss.
Netflix hasn’t renewed Dubai Bling for another season just yet, but we are silently praying for another fix to feed our obsession, given that Season 3 ended on such a cliffhanger. We have questions and we need answers.
But the question on everyone’s lips? Does this mean Danya won’t be returning also?! Please don’t let it be true! 😓
