This year, the Netflix series Dated and Related has been the latest obsession for us reality TV fans. Recap: We met 25-year-old Dyman Miller who was joined by her 21-year-old brother Deyon Miller on their hunt to find love alongside other cast members in a *huge* mansion in the South of France. Although they didn’t find their S/O on the show, they’ve remained one of our favourites from the season.

On being cast on Dated and Related
Netflix did title it as “the most awkward dating show in history” so we definitely had to ask Dyman’s thoughts on finding out she was going to be a part of the cast. “Throughout the entire casting process, I was extremely sceptical because it took over three months and few details were given,” she said.
She further mentioned that the siblings received a call three days before departing Miami on how Netflix wanted to two to fly out to France. Dyman continued, “I was a little frantic because I had just moved to Miami that same week. I had no clue where to start packing, what was next when I got to France, or how to even travel internationally because this was my first time.
It was all exciting yet nerve-racking at the same time because every moment leading up to the villa was very discrete and you didn’t know what was next till you were inside the villa meeting the rest of the cast.”
Life after Dated and Related
As we all know the reality star used to work as a medical assistant but she’s now started working full-time as a model and influencer. Prior to the show, she planned on getting her Master’s degree but shared how she’s happy working in another field, “Since I was a little girl, I had always dreamed of acting or modelling especially coming from a family who worked in Hollywood. Although I focused on my studies more, even while finishing my Bachelor’s Degree, I did a couple of brand photoshoots and national commercials.”
Finding love
Although she didn’t find love on the show, we’ve got good news for you. Dyman is currently in a relationship for ten months and has known her now-boyfriend since they were 13 years old.
She revealed, “I am actually so in love. It was quite the experience to go through and try and find love on TV. I actually learned a lot about myself and what to look for/expect in future relationships. My boyfriend and I have a very special friendship and a healthy-loving relationship. He is extremely supportive and we even hung out together with the cast members in LA.” So happy for the two!
Being BFFs with Nina and Diana
Speaking about who is she the closest to from the show, Dyman said, “I am closest to Nina & Diana, despite not showing any footage during the season, those two quickly became my older sisters in the villa. We’ve talked every day since I left the villa and have future travel plans together!
The entire cast has become one big family, and although no love was found in the villa for me, I did gain some amazing new lifelong friendships.”

Finally, does Dyman regret starring in Dated and Related?
Safe to say, reality drama is a total rollercoaster ride and handling fame after can be tricky. But, Dyman would do it all over again and doesn’t regret her decision. “In just a short amount of time, you learn so much about yourself outside of the cameras in your face,” she tells Cosmo. “For myself, I would approach things with a more open heart if I were to go through it again. Happily, where I am at in my relationship though, I would totally sign up Deyon’s twin brother and try to be the best wing woman for him as well!”
