Potentially the most glamorous show on Netflix, Bling Empire season three is finally here. There’s romance, breakups, and, of course, all the drama, but viewers have been particularly surprised by one unexpected special guest.
Yep, we’re talking about A-List actress Mila Kunis, who made a pretty random appearance in Bling Empire season three alongside cast member Christine Chiu. But how are Mila and Christine actually friends, and why is the actress in the show?
The scene sees Christine and husband Dr Gabriel Chiu heading out for dinner, where Mila turns up (seemingly out of the blue) and starts chatting with the reality star. Exhibit A:

Of course, fans have been pretty confused about how these two might have not only crossed paths, but also wound up being seemingly good friends. Hey, we love a random A-List crossover! One viewer tweeted, “Mila Kunis being friends with Christine is wild OMFG,” while another added, “Mila Kunis running into Christine and them catching up like old pals >”.
As for how the two are connected, it turns out Christine and Gabriel used to be neighbours with Mila and husband Ashton Kutcher. In the Bling Empire scene, Mila can be heard telling Christine, “The neighbourhood misses you.”
What’s more, Christine told Tatler in July that Hollywood stars such as Mila and Ashton had inspired her to use her platform to increase awareness for various causes. Speaking about living close to the couple, she shared, “Our former neighbours Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher stood up to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the war in Ukraine.

“They committed to donating a large sum of money publicly and I applaud that because they leveraged their platform, reached exponentially more people, and, of course, raised exponentially more funds.”
While the two families used to live close to one another, they’re now located in different parts of Los Angeles. The Chius reportedly live in an $8.7 million (£7.7 million) LA home. Meanwhile, last year Mila and Ashton gave Architectural Digest a look inside their sustainable LA farmhouse.
