From time to time, a beauty look is just so satisfyingly perfect it can’t help but trigger that tinnggglly melty ASMR sensation. Move over mic tapping and hair brushing; turns out a photo can officially be ASMR (yes, we Googled it).
One such image in question is the immaculate cut-crease eyeshadow and winged eyeliner combo, worn by Ariana Grande. Created by makeup artist Ash K Holm, the milky white eyeshadow with the cool brown tones is such a soft and dreamy take on contrast, and is the perfect compliment to Ariana’s signature black winged liner. In fact, we’ve zoomed right in and can confirm, it’s flawless.
After doing some digging, we clocked Ash’s recent post was actually a throwback to the launch of r.e.m beauty’s Chapter One in 2021 but it still stands today.
Firstly, of course Ariana would choose this look that amplifies her iconic wings as the shot to launch her brand. And secondly, a cut-crease remains so timeless it could be from a day, a month or a year ago and it doesn’t look dated at all.
The look was completed with r.e.m Dream Lashes, Dhs64, in the long and wispy style “Eternally Meowing,” and created using several r.e.m products that have gone on to become award-winning, shop-able below.
Now if we can order an astronaut helmet to come by the weekend…. that gives us three days to practice recreating this level of perfection in time for Halloween.
