One of Bling Empire‘s most well-known cast members, Anna Shay, passed away from a stroke at 62. The Japanese-Russian socialite starred in all three seasons of Bling Empire: LA and was known for her realness, kindness, and love for designer fashion. Anna Shay’s family confirmed the news of her death to Today.com last night with a statement saying “It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, has passed away at the early age of 62 from a stroke.”
“Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the finer things. Her impact on our lives will be forever missed but never forgotten.”

As Anna was one of the original cast members of Netflix’s Bling Empire after its release in 2021, audiences and fellow cast members are paying tribute to the star. Kelly Mi Li, a close friend of Anna on-and-off screen, posted on Instagram captioning her tribute post:
“RIP @annashay93 💔💔💔 you were truly one of a kind and we will miss you forever.”
