Is there anything more exciting than a celebrity engagement? We didn’t think so. After all, who doesn’t love hearing about those elaborate proposals and drooling over a 386529 carat diamond ring!? In the first half of 2021, celebs including Paris Hilton and Bella Thorne announced their engagements, and tbh we’re already obsessing over what their weddings will look like. Jojo and Dexter Darden
Jojo, the singer behind some of our favourite early 2000s anthems, celebrated Christmas day with a dreamy proposal from actor boyfriend Dexter Darden. They look so happy, and that is one *gorgeous* ring.
Jojo wrote on Instagram, “forever with YOU? Sign me UP. celebrating Christmas a whole fiancé!!! the most thoughtful, creative, positive, handsome, strong, loving, uplifting human being asked me to marry him. so obviously I said YESSS!!! thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever. and for flying out my mom, your mom, and both of our best friends to share in that incredible moment with us. you are one of one. The Made In Chelsea couple announced they would be tying the knot after he proposed at the Rosewood Hotel in London, two years after they had their first date there.
She wrote on Instagram, “WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you @jamielaing ❤️❤️❤️ ‘ while he added, “I couldn’t think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you @habboosophie 💍❤️🥺”

Love Island’s Luke and Lucie revealed he had proposed during a trip to Iceland in early November, after the pair started dating in July 2020.
“Mrs Mabbott to be…💍♥️•The northern lights made an appearance for the perfect moment to pop the question. A night we will never forget..♥️” they wrote on Instagram.

After going public with their relationship on Halloween 2018, Taylor revealed he had proposed to girlfriend Tay dome in November 2021 – and she said yes!

10 months after confirming they were dating in January 2021, Kourtney and Travis announced they were engaged with a series of loved-up snaps from the proposal. “Forever,” Kourtney captioned the photo from 18 October, which showed the pair surrounded by red roses. Wow.

Britney shared a video of her finger in a huge engagement ring on Instagram, with the caption, “I can’t believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!”
Britney and Sam met back in 2016 on the set of her music video for ‘Slumber Party‘, and often post about one another on social media.

The actress and boyfriend Danny announced they were engaged with a sweet Instagram post on 13 September. “Let’s go! 👰♀️💒🤵🏻♂️” she shared with her followers, before hitting the Met Gala in an all-pink Michael Kors ensemble hours later. Amazing!

DJ, TV personality and all-round icon Paris Hilton, announced her engagement to boyfriend Carter Reum on her 40th birthday. The pair were dating for just over a year and confirmed the happy news on February 17.

Former Disney star Bella Thorne announced her engagement to Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo on March 20. Bella posted a series of proposal snaps to Instagram, which included a pic of her pear-shaped diamond ring. The couple have been dating since June 2019.

Actress Shailene Woodley and NFL player Aaron Rodgers got engaged earlier this year. Aaron let the announcement slip during a live interview, when he referred to his “fiancée”. Of course, fans quickly put two and two together.
