Pretty Little Liars star Tammin Sursok was in town this week with Zero Makeup. So we caught up the the Austalian actress about her make-up must-haves, making the move to Hollywood and family life…

How did your collaboration with Zero come about?

We met through mutual acquaintances . I was looking to partner with a makeup brand and Nabila [the Zero Makeup founder] was looking for a global ambassador. It was the perfect timing and perfect fit.

What are your favourite products?

I use the Pearl shade of the All-in-One Face Perfecting Palette. I love the blush as I can use it on my cheeks and lips and even eyes.

What do you love most about the All-in-One Face Perfecting Palette?

How time effective and convenient and how beautiful it feels on my face.

Are you happier getting your make-up done or doing it yourself?

I like doing it myself. I’m a little bit of a control freak and I can’t sit still! Haha!

What three products will we always find in your handbag?

RMS concealer, Giorgio Armani mascara and Zero makeup!

You have a successful YouTube channel, what do you love most about that?

Getting to create my own content. No one wants to sit at home waiting for the phone to ring. I love the do it yourself attitude.

Who’s your favourite person you’ve interviewed on the channel?

Kelly Roland was a big one for me because I spend my childhood listening to Destiny’s Child. If you have seen the show, every episode is shocking!

You must travel a lot – what are your travel essentials?

Collagen under eye patches, coconut oil for my body and a good moisturizer.

You’re known for your role on Pretty Little Liars, what’s the biggest lie you’ve ever told?

I don’t lie. I get caught and I feel terrible!

Have you been to Dubai before? If you have, what did you get up to?

Yes I came seven years ago. It’s an incredible place that interesting and innovative. I loved going to the desert for some fun adventures seven years ago and I loved taking my daughter to the desert this time.

How would you sum family life up in five words?

Beautiful, messy, chaotic, exhilarating, loving.

You’ve made the jump from Australian soaps to US TV, in one sentence, what has changed the most in your life with that transition?

Being away from my family has been the biggest change but it feels just the same doing tv in America as it does Australia, it’s just on a larger scale.
