It’s mid-August, which means, like it or not, Halloween will be here before you know it. And although there is *rarely* an occasion to channel your inner man of the Night’s Watch here in the UAE, thanks to last week’s revelation that the Game of Thrones costume department use Ikea rugs for the Night’s Watch’s capes, Halloween could be just the time!Â
Luckily, the Swedish furniture giants have taken it upon themselves to help us all out with some official instructions, a how-to make a cape of your own. It’s literally as easy as 1, 2, 3…Â
The official Ikea product in question is the Skold rug, which doesn’t seem to be available in the UAE at the moment. But you can get the Tejn rug (Dhs55), which comes very close. So get creative and dye it for any darker Night’s Watch needs!Â
