Now, we all know that there is a reboot of Love Actually on its way. And because it’s the best film of all time, and is not just for Christmas, we’re beside ourselves with excitement about it. And, because the people behind the movie are givers, they have gifted us with this stunning teaser trailer…

Which, you will remember, is a nod to this iconic demonstration of love (and, let’s face it, how to be a pretty terrible pal)…

So, what do we know about Red Nose Day Actually so far? Well:

  • It’s being directed by Emma Freud, the wife of Richard Curtis, who wrote and directed the original, Richard has also come back to write the sequel
  • It will be out on Friday March 24 – a date for your diary!
  • It’s all in aid of Red Node Day, a biennial British charity initiative, organised by Comic Relief, a charity launched by Richard Curtis with comedian Lenny Henry
  • Most of the original cast have come back for the reunion, as a quick check on Emma’s Twitter demonstrates…
We have Keira Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who play Juliet and Peter, and seem to be as in love as ever

Martine McCutcheon and Hugh Grant, with original director, Richard Curtis

Lúcia Moniz, who played Colin Firth’s character, Jamie’s love interest, Aurelia

Rowan Atkinson, as Rufus, the most iconic jewellery shop assistant of all time

Step-father, step-son duo, Liam Neeson and Thomas Brodie-Sangster, aka Daniel and Sam

And Sam’s childhood love-interest, Joanna, played by Olivia Olson

And because we don’t want to stop there, here are a few more amazing snaps Emma has shared from the set…

Bring on March 24!Â
