Recently, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas photo leaked (actually, it’s technically a Christmas gif) and it’s basically the cutest thing ever, featuring their adorable baby son Archie looking into the camera as his parents smile at him in the background:

And that same day, the royal family released their first look at Queen Elizabeth giving her annual Christmas speech, surrounded by photos of her family:

And right smack in the middle of her photos? Prince William and Kate Middleton’s recently released holiday card featuring their three children, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.

The picture is nestled alongside a photo of Prince Philip, one of Prince Charles and Camilla, and an old picture of the Queen’s father. Notably absent, however, are Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Archie. And yeah, commenters are convinced this is a “snub” against the Sussexes. Here’s a sampling of what’s going on:

Okay, it’s true that Harry and Meghan are missing. But so are literally all of the Queen’s other grandchildren. Oh, and also missing? Her other actual children. This cluster of photos clearly represents the direct line of succession, which some fans have pointed out in the comments:

In other words, yeah, Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card isn’t on display, but that’s because Harry isn’t gearing up to be king!
