Hilary Duff has been sending fans wild with her behind-the-scenes snaps from the Lizzie McGuire reboot.
And even after 15 years off our screens, not a lot has changed for Lizzie’s signature do.
The 32-year-old Disney star took to social media to share a picture of what her hair will look like on the new show, and it’s basically the same as her teenage years.
Alongside a snap of herself with a fringe, she wrote: “Somebody wake me.. #lizziemcguire.”
Fans are clearly hyped for the reboot, with one saying: “PINCH ME, ITS HAPPENINGGGGGGGG.”
A second commented: “You really starting to look like Lizzie now.”
While we can’t wait for the iconic butterfly clips and crimped hair to make their appearances, Hilary recently admitted Lizzie’s style has evolved.

“We want to give people the nods that they want,” she told Allure. “[Lizzie’s] going to have that one splurge jacket that’s going to stick with her all season long that she makes match with everything. She’s going to be a flea market shopper and a Brooklyn cool girl.”
Hilary made our childhood dreams come true back in August with the announcement that she was returning to our TV screens.
She revealed the reboot will follow a 30-year-old Lizzie who hasn’t got it all figured out yet. “For me coming back when she’s 30 and she’s not in a marriage and she’s not having a baby and she’s not doing all the things that I have already done in my life, that story is really exciting for me,” the actress told E! News on October 12.
The star added: “I think to myself, where can we go? What are the struggles of a 30-year-old right now? What are the pressures that life throws in front of a woman who is 30 and doesn’t have all the things yet?”
“The opportunities are really endless,” Duff continued. “Maybe at the end of the series we see her having a baby? You know, maybe it’s hard for her to get pregnant? Maybe there is something bad happening on her 30th birthday in the first episode?
“Maybe she’s going to be in her childhood bedroom in the first episode? I don’t know! There’s all this fun! We want to give fans what they want, but we also want to have a completely new show.”
The hit show is expected to return in 2020 on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.
Now this is what dreams are made of.
