Have You All Seen Dubai Get Destroyed By a Giant Tidal Wave?

If any skyline was ripe for a starring role in a movie, it’s Dubai’s. And the iconic buildings of our Emirate are front and centre in new Gerard Butler movie, Geostorm, in which weather technology turns on the earth and… well, it’s a Gerard Butler movie, you can probably guess the rest.

First up, a HUGE tidal wave sweeps onto Jumeirah Beach.

Then, the water starts pouring into the Marina (and don’t think you’d escape because you live on the 40th floor, because did we mention the wave is enormous?)

Then we get some insane aerial views of the Gulf waters pouring across the city.

And Gerard Butler’s all like, “Where am I going to go this weekend now?!”
