The Dubai Stars Have Finally Been Opened To The Public

Just like the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the U.S, the Dubai Star is designed to honour celebrities who have performed exceptionally in their field of work. The stars are located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai and plans to honour up to 10,000 personalities.

This exciting project is by Dubai property developer, EMAAR and there’s a nomination process that involves you and I, so everyone gets to nominate their favourite stars on the EMAAR website and hope that they get picked.

Some of the celebrities that were present at the event to receive their plaques were, producer and television personality, Ahmed Helmy, Youtuber Khalid Al-Ameri, actress, Sonam Kapoor, music composer andactor Muhammad Atif Aslam and former Al-Hilal footballer Yasser Saeed Al-Qahtani.

This month, 400 stars were unveiled and you guessed it, our favourite stars (pun intended!) have already been announced. Our fave Queen Bey, Huda Kattan, Serena Williams, designer Ellie Saab, Rami Malek, and Will Smith amongst others will also be receiving their Dubai star.
