So, it’s been a minute since Normani performed her hit song Motivation on the MTV VMAs stage, which was nothing short of amazing. She graced the stage with her powerful vocals, and you can’t deny how electrified the crowd was with her stage presence. 

Not only that, we were totally impressed with the performances as well; from back-flips and splits to synchronised choreography, it was as monumental as you’d imagine.

But that isn’t the only reason why Normani’s stage was absolutely unforgettable. The powerhouse singer was met with an obvious wardrobe malfunction in the middle of a solo dance section of her performance, and guess what? She handled it like a true professional. 

In the midst of an outfit reveal, one of her back-up dancers struggled to pull out a piece of clothing from her hips. Seriously, it was a Normani versus jacket situation as the dancer literally yanked the piece of garment from Normani’s body. But that wasn’t even the best part. If you observed her closely in the video, you can see how composed she was. 

Her eyes were set on the moving camera and her expression showed no signs of internal panic, as if her wardrobe malfunction didn’t matter to her at all. She didn’t even miss a beat in her choreographed routine. Ugh, queen.
