Moonlight became the most talked about movie on the planet over night, thanks to Mahershala Ali’s Best Supporting Actor nod and, of course, that major mix-up, which eventually lead to it being named Best Picture at the Oscars. 

Now, the movie itself has pretty explicit content, so we probably can’t expect to see it widely released here in the UAE. However, there is a way you can watch the triple-Oscar winning flick in full. For one night, and one night only, the “full artistic cut” will be shown at Vox Mall of the Emirates, thanks to The Scene Club. 

The film buff’s society will be showing Barry Jenkins’ movie in full on March 15, from 8pm, and there is a one-hour-long mingling and networking session before. 

Now, you can’t just pitch up and purchase Scene Club tickets on the door with your half-and-half popcorn, nachos and Coke – it’s a members-only situation. If you’re not a member, a one-month package costs Dhs100, and includes two movie nights and a food and film event. Passes are available from March 1.
