Taylor Swift made her grand return to The Ellen Show last week and it was everything you’d expect from two pals reuniting after what seemed like forever. We’re talking about fellow feline lovers, Ellen and Taylor ofc.

It was heart-warming to see the two rehash all their good times (cue that one time Ellen scared Taylor so bad she fell to the floor).

Taylor’s appearance on The Ellen Show was mainly to promote her upcoming album (featuring the pop hit, ‘ME!) and, she revealed something quite interesting to the talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen was on a comedic roll, asking Taylor the most bizarre and out there questions from what her favourite swear word is to what she does if she can’t sleep at night. However, what we would like to discuss is what Taylor said when Ellen asked her if she washes her legs in the shower.

To which, Taylor responded with:

“I do, because when you shave your legs, the shaving cream is like soap, right?”

Umm, weird. But wait, it gets weirder. Ellen then asked Taylor about what she does on the days she doesn’t shave her legs and, then Taylor responded saying that she shaves her legs every day.

In true Ellen fashion (should we expect anything less from this exceptionally hilarious woman?), she stated: “Every day? Man, you must be hairy!”

Classic Ellen!

Now, we’re just out here wondering: Does Shaving cream really count as SOAP? Surely not, right?

Some Twitter users weighed in on the matter, expressing their concerns as well;

Well, we’d like to settle this debate. No, Taylor. Shaving cream and soap are not the same thing. Spread the word, people!
