As the mother-of-six promotes her new movie in Cambodia, First They Killed My Father, which is based on the country’s genocide between 1975 and 1979, she teamed up with the BBC and cooked spiders and scorpions with her kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

The BBC’s Yalda Hakim was there to try what Angelina and the kids cooked up, and eventually agreed that they weren’t too bad, saying, “Nice! I can see why you’re into this.”

“Crickets and a [drink]… and then you move up to tarantulas,” the Maleficent star then joked of her culinary introduction to bugs.
