Lady Gaga has finally addressed rumours that she and Bradley Cooper are in love, following THAT hot-under-the-collar Oscars performance of ‘Shallow‘ from their movie A Star Is Born.
Just to recap, they basically looked totally loved up during the song (despite Bradley’s supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk looking on) and the internet wondered: what’s going on?
Gaga then appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to set the record straight. Jimmy asked: “You had such a connection with Bradley, that instantly, and I guess this is a compliment, people started saying oh, they must be in love.” Gaga rolled her eyes…
…and replied: “Yes, people saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see. This is a love song. The movie, A Star Is Born, it’s a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance.”
The star – who is recently single after ending her engagement to Christian Carino ended – added: “I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel…I’m an artist, and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!”
And speaking about her Oscars win, Gaga gushed, “It’s incredible. This was hard work…If you work hard and you don’t give up, you can do anything.”
That’s settled that, then.
